Semana Tecnológica Matiks

For three weeks, through design and programming, students practice various transversal skills in a fun way, such as logical thinking, creative resolution of complex problems, time and resource management. We use visual programming languages, which allow you to intuitively use and understand basic concepts, such as loops and conditions, among others. The workshops are designed for girls and boys from the age of 6 (having finished 1st year of primary school). The participants will work in pairs and divided into three age groups: 6 to 9 years old (1st to 3rd grade of primary), 10 to 12 years old (4th to 6th grade of primary) and 13 to 16 years old (1st to 4th ESO). The week contains sessions of: – Educational robotics with LEGO Education WeDo (for students from 6 to 9 years old) or LEGO Mindstorms EV3 (for students from 9+). – Introduction to video game programming with Scratch (for students aged 6-9) and with Kodu Game Labs (for students aged 9+). – Technological crafts with Makey Makey or with Littlebits
