The Lalanalú children's summer camp is back! If you stay in Barcelona during the month of July and are looking for activities that stimulate creativity and motor skills in your little ones, think of Lalanalú. Guaranteed fun! At Lalanalú we give children freedom so that they can create and give wings to their imagination, freely experimenting with different materials and techniques. Our goal is to provide them with ideas and tools to develop all their creativity. Every morning in Lalanalú, they will carry out different activities. They will learn to crochet and stocking stitch, with their hands and arms. We will teach them to use flat and circular looms and we will dye wool with food pigments, with the help of the microwave. We will not only knit. We will also practice other arts: embroidery, painting, collage, stamping, sewing, XXL cross stitch, crafts with pom poms and many more. We will alternate textile arts with crafts and artistic techniques such as painting and collage to explore the inner world of children. Textile art has infinite possibilities, from printing fabrics with threads, corn, potatoes or leaves to creating your own pieces of jewelry with threads, dolls with pom poms and mandalas with threads. We will combine recreational activities with mini theoretical sessions. Thus, almost without realizing it, they will acquire notions about fibers and pigments and the history of the techniques practiced in class. In Lalanalú, there are no limits to the imagination. We adapt to the needs of each child. For this reason, we plan the activities according to the groups and their learning pace.
