About camp

A summer camp, a journey through the galaxy of contemporary culture! The explorers work on the different contents developed in the CCCB's exhibitions and programs throughout 2021. We will open our eyes to the ways of life that coexist with us and we will think of possible ways of collaborating with them in order to survive and repair the wounded ecosystems of our planet; we will create and represent stories that arise from our imagination when we look at the planet Mars, we will dance to imagine new futures and also speculate on sustainable cities. We will be in a creative laboratory. Who will do it? Culturnautes 2021 consists of five weeks, with proposals made jointly by the CCCB and the groups detailed below: Calendar: Artistic dialogues between urban species Week 1. Greetings from Mars Week 2. Collaborative creation of illustrated postal stories, by The Pink Pixel Collective (Sílvia Martínez, Marina Sáez, Ives Laborie and Zeta). Game of Kin Week 3. The future depends on your relationship with the other chillies, by the Laboratory of Playful Thought (Antonio R. Montesinos and Susana Rodilla). Playing with time and the universe of the possible Week 4. Collective creation laboratory, by the Big Bouncers collective (Mireia de Querol, Ursa Sekirnik and Magdalena Garzón). Cities, factories and workshops Week 5. Creation of an experimental fiction inspired by urban nature, by Mixité. How will it be done? Each proposal consists of an independent center of interest but complementary to the rest. The culturnautes attend the different workshops programmed by the groups to the spaces of the CCCB, accompanied by the team of monitors who act as referents of the children at all times. Throughout the morning, the groups stimulate the creative activities according to one of the proposed artistic disciplines that are worked on each week, with the aim of developing creativity through the application of certain techniques to produce an artistic element. The most playful afternoons bring us the contents of the CCCB through the game. On Thursdays, we go on an excursion around Barcelona and, finally, on Fridays at 16.30 we do an open show for families.
